The Health Benefits of - Apple Cider Vinegar

Here's a little backstory:
Soon after learning that I was pregnant, I became quickly obsessed with my overall health. I followed very closely the growth and development of my baby, week to week, and what organs were starting to bud. I made sure to eat foods that were pivotal in the healthy development of those organs and this later carried on even after pregnancy.

My ultimate goal is to marry health and beauty, so I also want to educate those that follow and support me, on natural ways to join the two.



Raw Apple Cider Vinegar is like the Holy Grail of performing at optimal health. ACV has so many benefits, among them, beneficial to your hair.



You can use ACV as a treatment for dry scalp. The acidity of ACV changes the pH of your scalp, making it hard for yeast to grow.
Directions:
1. Dilute 1/4 cup of water
2. In a 1/4 cup of ACV
3. Spritz on scalp
4. Let sit for 15 min to an hour
5. Wash hair
6. Repeat up to 2 times a week for best results.



Amongst the many uses of ACV, it's also amazing for your skin!
ACV can act as a great natural toner. In addition to acting as a toner, it can also be treated as a home remedy for acne. The antibacterial properties can help keep acne under control.
Lactic and malic acid soften and exfoliate, reduce red spots and balances the pH of your skin.

Lactic acid - mostly muscle tissue and red blood cells. When oxygen is low, carbohydrates breakdown for energy and make lactic acid.
Malic acid - natural substance found in fruits and vegetables, most commonly, in apples. The conversion of carbs into energy.
